2025 Issue Contest Rules and How to Enter

Deadline for Entries is January 31, 2025. No purchase is necessary. You must be at least 18 years of age to enter. Enter your information and upload your photo as high-quality JPG using the form below. Photos must be a minimum of 1MB (we prefer at least 2.5 MB) and no larger than 10MB. You may submit only one photo per entry and up to two entries total for each trail. You may enter photos for as many trails as you like.

How the Contest will be Judged

The winning photos will be selected by the publisher based on the quality and content of the photos. We are looking for high quality photos that show the scenic beauty of the trails and the people who use the trails during all four seasons of the year. We would like to show a variety of trail users, modes of transportation, landmarks, wildlife and other points of interest along the trails. All decisions are final and at the sole discretion of the publisher.

The Winning Photographers

Photos selected for publication and the grand prize photo will be announced and appear in the next edition of Michigan Trails Magazine when it is published in April 2025. The winning photographers will receive a free copy of the magazine (mailed to your home), a photo credit (your name published with the photo) and a check from the publisher. Good luck!
